I saw this recipe on Pioneer Woman's site and needed to try it! I did not have self-rising flour as she suggested so I added a touch of baking powder and salt to make up for it!
1 cup sugar
1cup flour
1 stick butter (melted)
1 cup milk
1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix in bowl with wisk; pour into greased baking pan
Choose 2 cups of your favorite berries (I used defrosted frozen blueberries)
Top batter with berries
Sprinkle the top with 1/8 cup of sugar
Bake in oven at 350* for 45 minutes or until desired golden-ness.
Serve with 'nilla ice cream. Enjoy!
I enjoyed seconds! Loved the sweet crunchy crust. Delicious!
