Saturday: Phono Select in midtown was one of a number of record stores around Sacramento celebrating Record Store Day. |
| Lunch at Magpie Cafe. I enjoyed their mushroom panini....just so good. I'm going back SOON! |
| The side salad was so light and freshing, made with candied almonds and these little babies... |
| ...a watermelon radish. So lovely. |
We picked up these beauties at a local corner stand near our house...I made chocolate covered strawberries for dessert that night! |
| Sunday: Josh and Mazzy went to get the paper and they found a package waiting on the doorstep. The postman had delivered Mazzy's Easter dress. Here's a sneak peek. :) Stef over at Girl.Inspired. made this dress for Mazzy and I about fell over in love with the dress when Mazzy tried it on and twirled around. It's really the most darling little dress ever. Mazzy is over the moon! Thank you, Stef!! Also, Josh and I decided to take our little ones on separate little errand runs. Maxton and Daddy got a haircut while Mazzy and I rummaged through our local thrift shop (no luck this time) and made a stop in at the nursery. We came home with 9 bags of soil, some veggies and a couple citrus trees! I'm so excited to start our garden, however, I'm overwhelmed by all the planning and factors to consider when putting together all the necessary steps. I just see worms invading my world and crushing my gardening soul. Okay, a little dramatic, but still...worms freak me out. Oh, and we got our taxes done, FINALLY! |
