Part 2

Our friendship was built on matters of the heart: boys.

As we became young women we practically clung to one another, confiding our deepest, darkest secrets, admitting our failures, and trying our best to be reassured that life would indeed get better.

She left searching for something. I stayed. I had something keeping me here. When she returned we just picked up. Right. Where. We. Left. Off.

Years have passed since those trying days filled with uncertainty and fear of the unknown. Since then we have met the loves of our lives and have been blessed with beautiful children.

She has become the woman I always knew she would be. She is passionate about all that life has to offer. She searches for her own truth while inspiring those closest to her to find their own.

We have stayed true to those young girls. Without fail we fall right into our places - speaking on matters of the heart.

And for that Ali, I thank you.

  2. Goose bumps and tears, Keri, that's what this gave me.

We certainly have been through a lot together, haven't we? Your friendship is so very precious to me. Thank you for ALWAYS being there for me, even when I didn't really deserve it, even when I wasn't even there for myself. I am truly blessed to have you as a friend.

Here's to keeping this alive and continuing to "fall right into our places" no matter where life takes us, even when we are old and gray.

    I love you so.

  4. After Erin told me she wanted to start her blog again and that she really enjoyed reading her previous posts I went back and read mine. It's really wonderful to have things "written down" before moments are forgotten and feelings are not expressed adequately. I love you girls so much and I want to remember forever what it feels like to be 30 and have you girls so much a part of my life.

You girls give me goosebumps. <3
