Yellow Rose...soon I'll be taking the time to smell it!

Spring Break is a mere 7 hours away and I'm anticipating a week full of bright, shiny, glorious days. I have no idea if the forecast says otherwise, but I am thinking positively, folks! On the agenda...

Building our very first raised garden bed.

Doing a little spring cleaning in our flower beds.

Going on a few family outings: movie with the kids in an actual theatre, ice cream sundaes, small nature hike, biking along the American River.

A friend's wedding!!

An overnighter with the husband.

Some deep cleaning inside the house to go along with our soon to be clean carpets (muchly overdue!)

BBQ's in the backyard. Dinner on the patio.

Tell me your plans!?

  1. That cheerful yellow rose just brightened my entire day. How beautiful, and I am jealous. jealous. jealous of you Creegers! Oh, those spring break plans sound delightful. Is this Maxton's first movie at the theatre? I would love to see photos of your flower beds and veggie gardens when you're done. I love your backyard, and wish I could be there for some BBQ and patio time. :) And a nice clean house and carpets after all of that. Enjoy your week!

  2. Hey you and Ali have the same brain today! Your week sounds splendid! I really hope you have a great relaxing week, you totally deserve it. Crossing my fingers that my crazy monkey brings the chill and not the shrill in the middle of the week. :-)

  4. Mel, it will be Max's first time...he's pretty zoned out when he watches the tube, so I'm hoping he'll be okay through it.

  5. Max will do great at the movie...he's like Ev at that age when it comes to that sort of thing. Nori, on the other hand...yeah, it's gonna be a while before she's ready to sit in a chair for an hour and a half for ANYTHING! ;-)

LOVE yellow roses. My absolute fave!!! Beautiful photo! And I see you have a Flickr stream now. Is that new? Or just new to me? Either way, totally cool, lady!

    YAY FOR SPRING BREAK!!!!

  6. Erin, you are so funny! Chill vs. the Shrill. :)

Keri, what are you seeing? The only kid movie I can think of is the gecko one or the toucan one.

Have your kids seen Despicable Me yet? I loved it.

  7. Erin, you are so funny! You come up with the funiest phrases. :) I'm looking forward to H being over and having J home...hopefully we'll do something if the rain lets up a bit.

Mel, may maybe RIO? Not totally sure yet. YES, we hujacked A-man's copy of DM and it was a cute movie! :)

Ali, I've had a Flikr account for a while but with very few photos uploaded...thought I'd branch out. :) I like it so far.
