Boys and Birthdays

Josh's last birthday hurrah (for the year)....finally.

I was unbelievably lazy with the photo taking on this day, so thank you to my sister for snapping a few for me.

Chocolate beads in straws. Sip milk through the straw and you have chocolate milk. Thanks, Papa!

Grandma and the kiddos.

I LOVE this guy. He has the biggest heart of any man I know. And he adores his grandchildren. A child at heart, he knows how to make everyone smile. (This night I had a bit of a parenting break down and it was nice to take a seat next to him and take a moment to regroup.)

Grandma and her little goodies for the kiddos.

Ka-pow!

My nephew Austin (the tall kid looking at the camera) is turning 16(!) this month. I am old.

I really love this kid. So much fun to watch him grow into the handsome, smart, kind young man that he is.

Mazzy has adored him ever since he was a bitty.

::::

My daughter's oldest friend turned FIVE last month. I still remember so clearly his baby days...

Evan (left) and Mazzy (right)
Now they are little people with big ideas and even bigger personalities...

Look at his little sister staring me down....

She's got my number, baby.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Evan.

Undies and light sabers. You know, a typical Saturday. No, really.

::::

Uncle Troy's turn....

A happy man.

It's really unsafe to have that many candles on a cake.

Happy Birthday, Troy. We love ya!

From September through November the birthdays keep coming....Maxton's turn next!

  1. This looks like such a fun celebration. I love the chocolate bead in the straw idea! So neat. Dan looks very handsome with his new haircut, I remember what fun gifts and games he brought to your and Erin's parties. Keri, I know this is the day that you were so busy you couldn't get cleaned up, but I think you look damn cute. You know I love you looking all natural and casual. :)

    Austin is going to be 16! Agh! That means I've known him for 13 years. We are old. But keep the birthday posts coming, they are fun!

    I just love the one of you and Ali and your first babies. Little minis of their current selves. :)

  2. I was JUST thinking about Dan and the teddy bear operation and money balloons. :)

    Mel, actually this wasn't that party. The one of just us four Creegers is when I hadn't showered. ;) That's why I wasn't present in any of the pics. But thanks for the nice words. xo
