A mishmosh of early April

REVISITING THE PAST
A family bike ride to picnic and play at McKinley park led us past our old tiny 6-unit apartment complex we lived in when Josh and I first got married, back in 2000.

What is it about photos of men with their children? It's incredibly attractive.

FOOD

Whole wheat and oatmeal blueberry muffins.

Homemade sweet potato chips with one of my favorites: Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato on sourdough.

EASTER

SCOTTY'S BIRTHDAY

A RECENT SURPRISE

WEATHER
This photo doesn't do justice to the amazingly beautiful skies we've been able to witness with the thunderstorms passing through our area.

LOVE

    1. Love this weather, although I could deal with a liiiitle less haze - if I wanna be picky. ;)

  2. Aw. F Street. Good memories. Seems like a lifetime ago. What did the kids think? How did you feel walking up there?

The berry muffin and blue mug look like delicious, toasty warm goodness. Love the blues in that one.

Love the family photo of Easter of both the Creegs and the Wilsons. :)

Aw, date night with Ali. Wish I could have crashed that! Did you watch the film?

    xoxo

    1. The kids were DOWN with it...lots of questions and curiosity. As you know, I'm always hesitant to stick my arse in places I'm not really supposed to be...so I didn't want to stalk out the place toooo long. I had to drag 'em away!

We didn't end up watching the film...Ali took me to her sister's house for a hand-me-down galore fest...snagged such good stuff!! Then Ariel was able to meet up with us a bit later and we chatted about goodness and nonsense. :)Miss both you girls!! :(

  3. Must be lovely to be a parent and have your kids ask questions about YOUR life pre-them. Fun to tell them about the "old days". :)

Im surprised you went up the stairs at all!

Sounds like a full and fun girls night!
